A lot of people have messaged me about the recipes in the Make A Magnetic Menu Board post from last week (see it here), so I thought I would post the links to the ones that can be found online. There’s also a Creatorvox board on Pinterest where I post online recipes I’ve tried and liked that you can follow (click here to see it). Any modifications I make are listed in the comments for each pin.
Here are the links, with the names I used on the menu spreadsheet:
Brussels Sprouts Salad: this is from Iowa Girl Eats (click here). It also works with walnuts and any kind of blue-type cheese that’s reasonably crumbly. I omit the pears, but that’s personal preference.
Homemade Rice A Roni: from Plain Chicken (click here). This dish is really forgiving. Saute the vermicelli, or whatever spaghetti you have in the house, on medium, stirring constantly until it’s quite brown, then add the broth (or bullion and water) and continue as instructed.
Roasted Cauliflower With Parmesan: from Eating Well (click here). Quick and delicious.
Dijon Braised Brussels Sprouts: from Smitten Kitchen (click here). The sauce is so good you’ll need a spoon.
Applesauce: this is a Creatorvox original (click here).
Kalua Pig: from Instant Pot (click here). Very easy and leftovers (if there are any) freeze well.
Cheddar Broccoli Soup: another Creatorvox original (click here). Chock full of veggies, this soup is also a great side dish.
I hope you enjoy these recipes and add them to your magnetic menu board. Just in case, here’s the link to the spreadsheet: menu items spreadsheet. Stay tuned for more original recipes in future posts, too.
